They are not forthcoming with information that affects the consumer.during the application process.
They fail to be clear upfront. Payments take 5 days or more to reflect in your account balance even though your bank shows the transaction completed the next business day.
They also fail to be up front and tell you it takes as many as 4 weeks to 8 weeks to send your deposit back when you close an account. They do say they pay no interest on your deposit. So no interest plus delays in their processes mean that the Capital Bank is using the consumers money at will to make money in other types of channels. Using the deposits and payment delays of the people who can not get credit cards for some reason to enrich the banks bottom line.
And by the way - to build credit, they make the consumer contact the credit agencies to report the card is open and to monitor it.
That's buried somewhere in their paperwork too. Lesson learned a bank can make money off your money and treat you however they choose and give you 3 different answers on 3 different calls.
User's recommendation: Investigate what you agree to and get it all in writing. I would not recommend this product to anyone ever.

I tried to fund the opensky credit card yesterday and put $200 twice then they charged my card for $400. Thats why I need to cancel the second transaction for the $200 and get my refund then I will keep only the first $200 that I made the fund.

$600 refund due to me.
I had two OpenSky cards with $300 on each card.Called company and I was first hung up on,I called back and spoke to Edmund who told me I would get my deposits back in eight weeks but he also said sometimes four weeks.So here I sit 4 weeks later still the same old.No Refund yet.My two open sky cards were both on PayPal and PayPal told me there was fraud on my PayPal account and Open Sky closed both of my 2 cards.I am so done with OpenSky and PayPal I dont trust them anymore!!Who woul think PayPal!!

Worst idea for helping credit. Signed up, never received card so I never activated it.
Billed me over $150 in late fees on top of annual charge and still don't have a card. I called to get it corrected, they refused to fix the damage they did to my credit. All they had to do was remove the late payment on my credit report. I even paid all the fees.
I still have no card as of 3-7-25. Joseph McGowan.

I gave y’all $200 for nothing. I wish I could open up a website and get $200 from people and not give them any merchandise or card or whatever you’re selling just not right.
Yall took $200 out of my account for a card and I havent received a card and its like yall I cant log into my account. Cant do nothing.
